  1. Hey, Alex! :) I know that savvy travelers in Jacksonville make a habit out of not going out into Mandarin, because it is the armpit of the Earth, but Mai Thai Thai is a bit of a hidden gem - http://www.mymaithai.com/index.html It's one of my family's favorites, great service, great food, and inexpensive! Their lunch platters are amazing and come with an entree, a spring roll, and a salad, and the atmosphere is really fun. (Last time I went, their drink menus were printed on vinyl records!)

Also in Mandarin and very good is Masala - http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/44/1439164/restaurant/Southside/Masala-Indian-Cuisine-Jacksonville
It's an indian place that used to be a different indian place that used to be a mexican place. At any rate, the food is terrific and they're always playing these unintentionally hilarious Bollywood videos 24/7.

  2. Hey thanks for the additions! Love the vinyl records detail haha. I just realized I neglected to add any Indian restaurants here, so I'll be putting some up soon.
